Thanks Doogie, it is a real Gibson Thunderbird.  It is a great bass.  However, as with all bass players there is still and bass I would like and that is a five string, either a Warwick or a Carvin.  Like yours really.  When the singer of our band moves a song to a lower key a six string would be much easier.  Could always get another singer.

Thats cool I have just dont a Music Tec course with the open uni it was alot of fun as it gave me such an insight in how the instrument is put together and im in the proces of making my own.
