Default Amp setting

I decided to get a new practice amp since my last one was held together with tape and luck, i was persuaded at my local music store to get a marshall MB30. its good but damned if i can get a nice deep warm tone like my old fender rumble.
if any of you guys have one i would be grafeul of any advice..and as for the settings they recommend in the manual...well lets not.

cheers
