Apart from music.
Walking, ideally to a pub.
Avoiding DIY.
Searching charity shops for leather jackets.

O brother, where art thou?
From dusk 'till dawn.
Anything by Simon Pegg/Nick Frost.

I'll listen to pretty much anything. When you close your ears you close your mind.
Current playlist is 'Broadside' by Ian Siegal,
'English Roots Music' by Jah Wobble, 'The Definitive Collection' by BB King, 'Equilibrium' by Aynsley Lister, 'Picking up the Pieces' by the Nimmo brothers and all of Tom Wait's back-catalogue. Not forgetting Henry Purcell, the ultimate chill-out.

Just finished 'Memoirs of a Geezer', the autobiography of Jah Wobble. I recommend it highly.

When it all comes together.

Lack of commitment. Cold fingers.

I play regularly as part of a church band (true home of the blues) and also as one third of the Daz Kelly Band (blues/gospel/Americana). I also dip into other bands and projects as opportunity arises. For example, I recently played for the first time in a ceilidh band. Great fun.
I'd like to think that any technical shortcomings are compensated by enthusiasm and commitment.
I get plenty of work anyway!

Hi Len (I assume that's your name)

Sorry it has take me so long to reply I have not been on this site for ages. Thanks for your comment. I just realised that he photos I put on my site have gone up for everyone to see. If you dont mind me asking what chruch do you go to?  2010 ceratinly has not brought in what I had hoped for. We were supposed to be playing radio 1's big weekend in Bangor but we were dropped at the last minute. And we have still not been able to secure the money to make the next album yet. Fingers crossed for next couple of months. Will.

Hello! Thanks for the ADD. Are you doing much live work at the moment? Apart from my regular church stuff I'm finding 2010 very slow. Part of the problem around this part of the world is the closing down of pub venues.

Hi Len, yeah Gerry McAvoy is an inspiring bass player, he seems to have the ability to play what sounds like the simplest of bass lines an make it sound amasing, like every note counts. was brought up on the likes of rory gallagher an still one of my favourites to this day,

Nice to meet you, all the beat Dan.
