“I’ll be playing a bass guitar from Mayones Custom, and my amplifier is an Ashdown Custom Pi. It’s the new one, with an Ashdown ABM 4×10 cab. For effects, I have a Taurus Custom Pi. I’ll also use two hands and my head! I expect smiling faces, people showing that they really enjoy being there, and a little scepticism from the orthodox jazz musicians. The truth is I always have fun playing bass, composing and performing. I like breaking rules and stereotypes in music, but of course with respect for the classics.”
